| Overview Electrolysis
is a way of removing individual hairs from the face or body. The
process of electrolysis is commonly recognized
as causing permanent hair removal by inserting a fine probe conductor
into the hair follicle (a natural skin opening), brief current
is applied to the follicle, then epillation (removal) of the
treated hair.
Electrology involves labor intensive, intricate,
precision procedures, requires professional judgment, and must be
performed in a sanitary environment by a skilled practitioner for
optimal results.
Your role as the client in the treatment
process is integral to the overall result. Consistency in maintaining
a prescribed course of treatment scheduling will significantly influence
progress. Sessions become less frequent and shorter in duration
as treatment progresses. Temporary removal methods (waxing or tweezing)
could prolong and complicate the process and should be avoided.
During your initial consultation and
throughout the treatment, we will discuss the role, various
factors and considerations which may play in your individual
treatment.
